Founder 500 Membership Terms and Conditions

Organisation: Flex Work Collective (FWC)

By applying for and accepting a place as a Founder 500 Member of the Flex Work Collective, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
The Founder 500 Membership is available to the first 500 individuals or businesses who sign up during the pre-launch or early launch period.
Membership is open to professionals operating in flexible work environments, including freelancers, mobile businesses, remote workers, and coworking professionals.
Acceptance and any additional terms of membership into FWC or the Founder 500 promotion are at the complete discretion of FWC

2. Founder 500 Membership Benefits
Founder 500 Members will receive the following benefits:
$20 million Public Liability Insurance  
Access to the FWC member directory and referral network
Risk management support and business advisory content
Founder 500 Member recognition on digital channels
Three year rate lock: As long as membership is maintained, annual pricing will not increase
$20 AUD credits for membership referrals who take up an annual membership with FWC
Exclusive     "Founding Member" digital badge

3. Term and Renewal
Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of activation (1st June 2025)
Founder 500 Members may renew annually at the locked-in Founder 500 rate, provided membership is not cancelled or lapsed for a period of three years.

4. Conduct and Compliance
Members are expected to comply with the FWC Code of Conduct and all policies as outlined by the association.
Breaches of the Code of Conduct or misuse of member benefits may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

5. Insurance Eligibility
Public Liability Insurance is issued by a third-party insurer.  
Cover is included as standard
A copy of the policy wording, your certificate of currency and details of how to make a claim are available through your dashboard
Insurance may not provide coverage for all types of businesses or their activities.
Members are responsible for reviewing details of the insurance provided and obtaining their own individual advice on both its suitability for their individual circumstances or obtaining any further or alternative insurances they may require.
Insurance is arranged as a benefit for FWC members and in the arranging of this insurance FWC is not providing advice of any kind as to its suitability to provide effective coverage for your business, as such we strongly recommend you obtain professional advice as to your exposures and needs regarding your insurance and indeed all aspects of your business. Full details of the insurance including Certificate of currency and policy summary and full policy wording are available in your dashboard or can be provided directly upon request.

6. Cancellation Policy· 
Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing written notice to the FlexWork Collective.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made mid-term on annual plans.
If a member chooses the monthly payment option and cancels before the completion of the 12-month term, the remaining balance of the annual membership becomes immediately due.
This ensures fairness to other founder 500 members and maintains access to benefits already received (e.g., insurance coverage and advisory services).
Founder rate benefits are forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reinstated.

7. Changes to Terms
FWC reserves the right to update these terms and conditions.
Members will be notified of significant changes via email or the member dashboard.

8. Limitation of Liability
FWC is not liable for business loss, indirect or consequential loss, or damage resulting from the use of member benefits or services.

By joining as a Founder 500 Member, you acknowledge and accept these terms and agree to remain in good standing with the Flex Work Collective.
Flex Work Collective – Referrer Program Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Flex Work Collective Pty Ltd (“FWC”) Referrer Program(“Program”). By participating in the Program, you agree to comply with theseTerms.

1. Eligibility
You must be an individual or entity legally able to enter into contracts. You must register and be accepted as a referrer via an approved FWC form or platform. You must also remain an active member of Flex Work Collective at the time the referred member qualifies for the reward payout.

2. Referral Reward

FWC will pay the Referrer a $20 AUD reward for each new member who:  
Subscribes to an annual FWC membership and pays in full at the time of sign-up; or  
Subscribes to a monthly payment annual membership and successfully completes 12 full consecutive monthly payments.

3. Payment Terms
Referral payments will be processed within 30 days of the qualifying payment.
Payment will only be made if the Referrer remains an active FWC member at the time the referred member qualifies.
Payments will be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank or PayPal account nominated by the Referrer.
A valid ABN must be supplied if referral income exceeds $75 in a financial year.  

4. Tracking and Attribution

Referrals must be made using a unique tracking link or referral code provided to the referrer by FWC.
FWC is not liable for any tracking or attribution issues resulting from improper link usage, browser privacy settings, or technical limitations.

5. Disqualification
FWC reserves the right to disqualify referrals that:  
Are suspected to be fraudulent  
Are self-referrals  
Result in refunds, chargebacks, or membership cancellations before "3. Payment Terms" are satisfied

6. Tax Responsibilities
Referrers are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes associated with referral income in accordance with Australian tax law.

7. Changes and Termination
FWC reserves the right to change or terminate the Referral Program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice.
Existing rewards owed prior to termination will be honoured as per the Terms and conditions in effect at the time the referral qualified.

8. Limitation of Liability
FWC is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the Referrer Program.
Referral program participation does not create any employment, partnership or agency relationship with FWC.

FWC Launch Competition – Terms & Conditions

1.Promoter
The promoter is The Flexible Work Collective, ABN 73 686 777 337, of Level 2 11 York Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000.

2.Eligibility
Entry is open to all individuals aged 18 years or over who are residents of Australia.
To be eligible, participants must successfully sign up and be accepted for a paid annual membership with The Flexible Work Collective between 12:00am AEST on 19 June 2025 and 11:59pm AEST on 30 July 2025.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of The Flexible Work Collective are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry
To enter, individuals must:
    a) Sign up and pay for a 12-month (annual) membership via the official website during the competition period.
    b) Agree to these terms and conditions.

Members who choose the monthly to month payment plan (non-annual) are not eligible for the prize draw.

4. Prize Details
1 First Prize - Full Refund - If paid up front, or full year of credit with any previously made payments returned If paid monthly & gift voucher to the value of $100
5 prizes of 50% refund - If paid up front, or return of previously made payments and credit provided for 4 months membership
10 gift vouchers to a value of $50

5. Prize Draw
The draw will take place at Flexible Work Collective headquarters on 31 July 2025.
Winners will be selected at random using a computerised method.
Winners will be contacted via email or phone within 3 business days of the draw.
Prizes will be distributed within 14 days of confirmation of details.

6. General Conditions
Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If a winning member cancels their membership before the draw, they will no longer be eligible for prizes.
The Flexible Work Collective reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify entrants who tamper with the process or act in breach of these terms.

7. Privacy Personal information collected for the purpose of the competition will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Entrants consent to their name being published if selected as a winner, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Disclaimer
The Flexible Work Collective accepts no responsibility for technical issues, late entries, or incomplete transactions that result in failed competition entry.
9. Acceptance Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
